Virtual Organizing Fellowship

The campaign is proud to announce we are offering a Virtual Organizing Fellowship! This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a top-tier progressive state representative campaign. Fellows will gain exposure to all aspects of a political campaign, and will learn about exciting career opportunities in the political field. 

Specific Responsibilities include: 

  • Assist staff in organizing data entry, phone banks, research, and social media organizing

  • Assist with strategic planning for upcoming virtual events

  • Research policy proposals and relevant issues

  • Provide a positive experience to volunteers through a welcoming field and digital experience

  • Develop creative strategies to help reach voters virtually

  • Desired commitment of 10-hours per week

 

Qualifications: 

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment while handling a variety of responsibilities

  • Strong time management, and multitasking abilities

  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team

  • Strong interpersonal skills for working with volunteers

  • Experience using social media, especially Instagram is preferred

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Drive

  • Commitment to the election of Democratic women to the Massachusetts's State House

  • Previous campaign experience is welcomed but not required

  • Flexible hours are required for this position

 

This will be a remote position for at least the next two months. Applicants need access to the internet. We require a minimum 8-week commitment.
