Recovering from COVID-19
The health and safety of our communities is Amber’s top priority. Our COVID-19 response must support our healthcare systems, businesses, and schools as they deal with the consequences of the crisis. We must do all we can to support essential workers, working parents, seniors, and those financially impacted by the crisis.
Amber will advocate for:

Developing a set of reopening standards and supporting small businesses in implementation, and providing meaningful financial relief to all in need along the way.

Supporting essential workers now and into the future with a living wage, comprehensive healthcare, and paid sick leave.

Increasing access to reliable and efficient testing and contact-tracing programs.

Requiring senior housing, assisted living, and nursing homes to report any cases of COVID-19 and immediately test all employees and residents regardless of symptoms.

Maintaining and increasing the PPE stockpile in Massachusetts.
